The number one question we hear at the counter — right after "how much?" — is "how long will I be without my phone?" Fair question. Here's an honest answer.
Most repairs: under two hours
The majority of what comes through our door — cracked screens, dead batteries, charging ports, cameras, buttons, speakers — is done the same day, usually in under two hours. Screen and battery replacements, our two most common jobs, often take around 30 minutes. Walk in, wait a bit, walk out.
What can take longer
- Water damage: needs careful cleaning, drying, and testing. We won't rush it — a proper liquid-damage diagnosis takes time.
- Board-level issues: if the problem is on the motherboard, diagnosis is detective work. We'll tell you upfront if yours needs it.
- Some tablets and laptops: complex repairs can take 48–72 hours, especially if parts need ordering.
- Mail-in repairs: add shipping time both ways, plus the repair itself.
How we keep it fast
We're a local shop, not a mail-it-away chain. Our technicians work on-site, we stock high-quality parts for the most common models, and we give you a realistic time estimate with your free quote — before any work starts. If anything changes mid-repair, we'll call you. No one likes waiting without knowing why.
Tips to minimize your time without a phone
- Walk in early. Weekday mornings are quietest — your repair starts sooner.
- Back up first. If you can, run a backup before you come in. It speeds up intake.
- Know your passcode. We may need it to test the repair (touch, cameras). It's only used for testing — we never access your personal information.
- Call ahead for unusual models. If you have something rare, a quick call lets us confirm parts availability before you drive over.
